Return & Refund Policy

BÛTÓN — Made with Intention

At BÛTÓN, we believe that a timepiece should be more than an object of ownership. Each watch is prepared or produced following an individual order, reflecting our commitment to a considered and deliberate approach to watchmaking.

Because our timepieces are made to order, we do not offer voluntary returns or exchanges for a change of mind beyond the rights provided by applicable consumer law.

Made-to-Order & Personalised Timepieces

Certain BÛTÓN timepieces may be crafted according to a client's individual specifications or feature personalisation, such as bespoke details or engraving.

Where a product is genuinely made to the customer's specifications or has been clearly personalised, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply, in accordance with Section 22(e) of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act.

Any applicable exemption will be clearly communicated before purchase.

Please note that production following an order does not, by itself, exclude statutory withdrawal rights for standard collection products.

Right of Withdrawal

For purchases covered by Norwegian or other applicable consumer withdrawal legislation, customers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving their order, without providing a reason.

To exercise this right, please notify BÛTÓN clearly by email at mbh@butonwatches.com within the applicable withdrawal period. Please include your order number to help us identify your purchase.

You may use a statutory withdrawal form, but a clear written statement is sufficient.

Following your notification, the product must be returned within 14 days.

Returning Your Order

We will provide the appropriate return instructions and address.

Customers are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping where permitted by law and disclosed before purchase.

Products should be securely packaged for their return. Customers may inspect an item as they would reasonably be permitted to do in a physical store but may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

Refunds

Where a valid right of withdrawal is exercised, refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Refunds will include the product price and the original standard delivery cost, where required by law.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notification. We may withhold reimbursement until the returned product has been received or proof of its return has been provided, whichever occurs first.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

Every BÛTÓN timepiece is expected to meet the standards described at the time of purchase.

If your order arrives damaged, is defective, or does not correspond to your purchase, please contact us at mbh@butonwatches.com with your order details and a description of the issue.

We will assess the matter and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

Your statutory rights relating to defective products remain unaffected by our made-to-order policy.
